Agustín Maluenda Ríos, in arte Pastelito de Chile, è un clown straordinariamente popolare in Cile e, più in generale nel mondo del Circo: figlio del noto artista Tachuela Chico, Pastelito rappresenta la sesta generazione artistica di una celebre famiglia circense del Sud America. Grazie alla sua personalità eclettica e versatile, Pastelito si è affermato anche come musicista, regista e produttore. Ha al suo attivo oltre 35 anni di attività nel mondo dello spettacolo ed ha conseguito speciale visibilità negli Stati Uniti, in Messico, Colombia, oltre che in Spagna, Francia e Germania. Nel 2011 per preservare la tradizione artistica della sua famiglia, Agustín ha creato il Circo Pastelito y Tachuela Chico. Tra i più significativi obiettivi raggiunti da Agustín, la creazione della manifestazione denominata “Red Carpet del Circo”, unica nel suo genere in America del Sud, fra gli eventi televisivi più attesi dell’anno. Pastelito de Chile calca le piste dei circhi di tutto il mondo affiancato da suo figlio, il clown Pastelito Junior, al secolo Agustín Maluenda Jr: il giovane clown ventitreenne è un artista completo: acrobata, trapezista, cantante… oltre che Direttore Artistico di ogni produzione del Circo di famiglia.

Agustín Maluenda Ríos, whose stage name is Pastelito de Chile, is a very popular clown in Chile, as well as in the circus world in general: his father was the famous performer Tachuela Chico, and Pastelito represents the sixth artistic generation of a celebrated South American circus family. Thanks to his eclectic and versatile personality, Pastelito is also a musician, director, and producer. He has been working in show business for over 35 years, working extensively in the USA, Mexico, and Colombia as well as in Spain, France, and Germany. In 2011, to continue the artistic traditions of his family, he founded the Circo Pastelito y Tachuela Chico. One of the most significant achievements of Agustín was the creation of the event known as ‘Red Carpet Circo’, unique of its kind in South America, and one of TV’s most popular annual events. Pastelito de Chile works around the world with his son, clown Pastelito Junior, whose real name is Agustín Maluenda Jr: this young 23-year-old clown is a multi-talented performer: acrobat, trapezist, singer… as well as being Artistic Director of all of his family’s circus productions.
